Memories for Alzheimer’s was a passion project of mine that combined my passion of photography with an organization that is close to my heart. On May 20th, I held a day of mini photo sessions to raise funds for the Alzheimer Society of Windsor and Essex County.  I can’t say thank you enough to everyone who participated in this event. By participating, you helped support the many families in Windsor – Essex impacted by Alzheimer’s Disease and other Dementia’s.

We hung out at Brunet Park in LaSalle, and the day couldn’t have been more beautiful! If you haven’t visited Brunet Park, I highly recommend it. The lush greenery and hidden trails make the perfect backdrop.

Unfortunately, the Bownes family session was rescheduled due to rain in the evening. However, I’m glad it did because it brought us to Solveig and Jesper’s school- Queen Victoria. We spent the session running around as they showed me their favourite spots and the best trees to climb!
